Habit Cake uses four steps: Choose. Anchor. Keep. Evaluate.
Choose
Select one practical behavior that fits your current needs and circumstances. Define what the regular version looks like and what would make it inappropriate today.
Anchor
Attach the behavior to a cue or transition that already happens. The anchor should reduce friction, not create a new performance test.
Keep
Keep a bad-day version. Define a smaller, safer, or more accessible option before a difficult day arrives. Rest may also be the correct version.
Evaluate
Review what happened without moral judgment. Did the plan help, have no effect, create pressure, or not fit? Keep, change, replace, or retire it based on what you observed.
Safety overrides consistency, streaks, quotas, and performance. Habit Cake offers general education, not individualized medical, mental-health, nutrition, exercise, legal, or financial advice.
