How corrections work
- Review the reported issue against the controlled source and current authority.
- Hold, revise, replace, or retire affected content when the issue changes its meaning, safety, or usefulness.
- Identify material corrections near the affected content when a public item exists.
- Preserve the original and the decision record when governance, safety, or accountability requires it.
- Propagate the correction to linked derivatives and destinations when applicable.
